Subject offered in B.A/ B.Sc Programme/General course of study

Applicant has to select two subjects taking one subject from Group-A  History/ Mathematics/ English/ Philosophy/Geography/Education/Physical Education and one subject from  Group-B  Bengali /Computer Science/Political Science/Arabic/Sanskrit/ Economics as  Core Subjects and English as Language Core Course and Bengali as Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course shown  in the following table.

Subject offered in Honours course of study

For core course subject (Honours) : In one application form for Honours course each applicant may apply only for three Core Course subjects as 1^st , 2^nd and 3^rd preference from Group-A, B & C. Need-not to prefer subject from each group. 2 or 3 subjects may be preferred from same group. The applicant for Core course (Honours) has to select one subject either from Group-A or Group-B  or Group-C as Core Course subject. Applicant opting Core Course subject from Group-A has to opt one subject as Generic Elective Course subject from Group-D, opting Core Course subject from Group-B has to select one subject as Generic Elective Course subject from Group-E and Group-C has to opt one subject as Generic Elective Course subject from Group-F.The applicant has to select Environmental Science as 1^st Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course Shown in the following table.
